Job summary

XKIG in Huntsville, AL seeks an Aerial Lift Trimmer to trim, prune, and remove trees using a bucket truck or similar equipment. Requires 1-2 years of aerial lift experience and a valid driver’s license. Safety and teamwork are essential as you support storm restoration work when needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience operating an aerial lift with a tree care company.
• Driver's license is required.
• Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of knots, ropes and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal operations.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce safety rules.
• Prepare truck and materials for each day under General Foreperson's direction.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed by General Foreperson.
• Clear and trim trees near utility lines and remove branches and debris.
• Clean up and dispose of debris.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment used daily.
• Observe climbing and tree maintenance skills to improve performance.
• Assist other crew members in all daily activities.
• Protect employees and public from hazards by keeping area clean and using PPE.
• Perform storm-work duties as needed.
