Job summary

CMC North America is seeking an Aerial Lift Service Technician I or II to join our Service Team in Salem, New Hampshire. You will diagnose mechanical problems, work with sophisticated hydraulic, electrical, CANBUS and sensor systems, and complete repairs from problem to solution.

This customer-facing role may be performed independently or with senior technicians. Pay ranges from $28.00 to $40.00 per hour, with travel opportunities and a up to 3% annual bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience repairing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify causes of failures.
• Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift, push or pull 70+ pounds and perform climbing/bending.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally across the United States after qualification.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems on CMC aerial lifts.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections and prepare new equipment for customers.
• Inspect equipment before/after rental or demonstrations.
• Troubleshoot with diagnostic software, diagrams, and tools.
• Provide professional, solution-focused support to customers during service interactions.
• Do field service at customer locations once qualified.
• Participate in on-call emergency service rotations after training.
