Job summary

XKIG is seeking an Aerial Lift Trimmer to trim, prune and remove trees using a bucket truck or equivalent tools. Candidates need 2-3 years of aerial lift experience and a valid driver's license, with a focus on safety and efficiency on site.

Responsibilities include assisting foreperson, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with crew to minimize hazards around power lines. Performs storm work as needed and adheres to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of knots, ropes and rigging used in trimming/removal.
• Ability to identify tree species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards and operating near conductors.
• Able to work at heights, in varying weather.
• Must obtain/maintain First Aid and CPR credentials.

Responsibilities

• Trim, prune and remove trees near utility lines using suitable gear.
• Prepare truck and materials daily as directed by Foreperson.
• Maintain tools and equipment used in daily operations.
• Ensure safety practices to protect workers and public.
