Job summary

Blue Streak Llc is seeking an Aerial Laborer to support the installation and maintenance of aerial OSP telecommunications infrastructure in Alabama. You will work with Linemen, Foremen, and crew members to safely and efficiently complete aerial fiber and coax construction projects.

Responsibilities include loading, transporting and unloading materials; assisting with installation and pulling of aerial cables; setting up safe work zones; and helping with poles, anchors, and daily site activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aerial telecommunications or utility construction preferred.
• Familiarity with OSP construction tools and equipment preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL preferred.

• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
• Assist the Foreman and crew with daily job-site activities as needed

• Comfortable working outdoors and around aerial construction operations


• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift at least 75 lbs.


• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed


• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions


• Valid driver’s license required


• CDL preferred


• Must pass a background check and drug screening
