AtBigham Cable Construction, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Aerial Groundhand in Reynolds, GA. This hands-on outdoor role supports an Aerial Telecom Crew with fiber/telecom installations and maintenance, working in all weather and environments.

The job requires physical stamina, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to obtain pole climbing certification. Training is provided; overtime, travel, and on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a hands-on, outdoor position that requires working in all types of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, wind and other inclement weather. Must be comfortable performing hands-on, physically demanding work in an outdoor field environment.

What you’ll do
