Job summary

Sunrise Telecom Inc. seeks an Aerial Foreman (Traveling) to supervise strand and lash operations in infrastructure projects. Immediate supervisor: Director/Owner.

Responsibilities include operating bucket trucks, setting up job sites, ensuring clearances, framing poles, and supervising cable installation while enforcing safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Combination of technical training and/or experience is expected.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in a construction environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate bucket truck and other equipment related to aerial fiber construction.
• Set up the job efficiently (strand trailer, fiber trailer, and caddies).
• Maintain clearances from utilities, ground, roads, highways, sidewalks, and non-pedestrian areas.
• Frame poles per industry specifications.
• Supervise lash/over lash of single and multiple cable bundles.
• Read and interpret network prints.
• Safely climb poles using gaffs or ladders.
• Follow OSHAs safety requirements to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
• Communicate by phone throughout the day.
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to teach and train others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
