Job summary

Sunrise Telecom Inc in Missouri is seeking an Aerial Foreman (Traveling) to oversee strand and lash operations, operate bucket trucks, and ensure safe, efficient aerial fiber installation.

You will read network prints, coordinate with crew, supervise cable bundles, and mentor crew; travel is required, with potential nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or its equivalent.
• Combination of technical training and/or experience.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a construction environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate bucket truck and equipment related to aerial fiber construction.
• Set up job efficiently (strand trailer, fiber trailer and caddies).
• Observe clearances from utilities, ground, road, highway, sidewalk and non-pedestrian areas.
• Frame poles according to industry specifications.
• Supervise lash/over-lash of single and multiple cable bundles.
• Read and interpret network prints.
• Climb poles safely using gaffs or ladders.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements to complete the job safely and efficiently.
• Communicate by phone frequently throughout the work day.
• Demonstrate leadership and train others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
