GM Equipment Corporation in Columbus, OH is hiring a full-time Aerial Equipment Mechanic to service and inspect aerial lifts and handling equipment. The role involves on-site and shop work, with responsibilities including equipment prep, paperwork, and repairs to hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in equipment repair, knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems, and must pass a background/drug test; a DOT medical card is required for Field Service Technician.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Be knowledgeable with hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass background and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment for future rentals by servicing and performing PM work.
• Completing proper paperwork for work performed.
• Fixing or replacing broken parts and performing hydraulic & electrical repairs.
• Work is done in both on-site and in-shop environments.

As a result of our significant growth, GM Equipment Rentals is in need of 1 full time Aerial Equipment Mechanic for our Columbus, OH location.

Job responsibilities would include (but are not limited to):

• Preparing equipment for future rentals - servicing, inspections, PM. work.
• Completing proper paperwork in accordance with work done that day
• Fixing / replacing broken parts
• Hydraulic & electrical repairs
• On-site and in shop work environment
• ETC.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to take background /drug test. A DOT medical card is required for the Field Service Technician position.
• 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair
• Be knowledgeable with engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
