Communication Data Link is seeking a Coax/Aerial Lineman to join our team in Iowa. Relocation to Marion, Iowa, is available for the right candidate. The role requires 3+ years of coax/aerial construction experience, proficiency in splicing, fiber installation, and pole transfers, and the ability to work with bucket trucks and climb poles.

A strong safety mindset is essential. We value reliability, good time management, and the ability to travel weekly to job sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of coax/aerial construction experience.
• Knowledge of building strand, lashing, retrofitting, pole transfers, and vertical grounds.
• Proficient in splicing, fiber installation, and pole transfers.
• Willing to relocate to Marion, IA or travel weekly.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair aerial telecommunications transmission lines.
• Operate bucket trucks and climb poles as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and work in tough conditions (snow, rain, heat).

Must have:

• Knowledge in building strand, lashing/over lashing, retro fitting, pole transfers, vertical grounds, and building and repairing aerial telecommunications transmission lines.
• 3+ year experience in Coax/Aerial construction
• Proficient in new build, splicing, fiber installation, and pole transfers
• Ability to utilize bucket trucks, climb poles as needed, and utilize standard tools of the trade.
• A respect for safety protocols
• Strong time management
• Ability to work in tough conditions; snow, rain, extreme heat
• Must be willing to travel each week
