Job summary

AMR is hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, delivering high-quality care and customer service to patients.

This full-time role is based in Eskridge, Kansas, with experience credit and starting annual pay around the stated base. You will work with a team of EMTs to provide rapid medical assessment and treatment while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Kansas EMT Certification required or eligible.
• CPR certification required.
• NREMT certification preferred.
• State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• EMTs provide patient assessment, determine required care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills for care including communications, equipment, cleaning procedures, and tools.
• Operate ambulances in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.

ADVANCED EMT

Starting at $39,651.05 / year with credit given for experience

We’re hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

This is a full-time position in Eskridge, Kansas, in Wabaunsee County.

Responsibilities:

• EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Kansas EMT Certification or Kansas Eligible
• CPR certification
• NREMT certification preferred
• State Driver’s License
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
