Job summary

AmeriPro Health LLC is hiring experienced Advanced EMTs (AEMTs) to deliver ALS care under approved protocols. Join a forward‑thinking EMS team with state‑of‑the‑art ambulances and industry‑leading pay and comprehensive benefits from day one.

This full‑time role focuses on BLS and limited ALS, IV access, airway management, and collaboration with Paramedics. A strong communicator with current Paramedic licensure and relevant CPR certifications is required to provide high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum EMT work experience; licensure as a paramedic in good standing.
  • State requirements for NREMT certification if applicable.
  • CPR certifications: BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS; proficiency with EMS technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide BLS and limited ALS patient care per protocols.
  • Establish IV access and administer approved meds.
  • Perform advanced airway management, including supraglottic devices.
  • Assist Paramedics with ALS interventions when applicable.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring.
  • Safely operate emergency vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete patient care documentation accurately.
  • Maintain ambulance readiness and stocking of meds

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete patient care documentation
  • Maintain readiness of ambulance, equipment, and medications

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
  • Frequently is required to stand and walk
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, stand, or balance
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 300 pounds with assistance from others
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Previous EMT work experience
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training
  • Technology proficiency

Certification & Licensure Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
  • Current State Paramedic licensure in good standing
  • Current National Registry NREMT certification (if required by state)
  • Current CPR: BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS certifications
  • Valid State driver's license
  • FEMA IS Certifications (IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800)
  • Current Ventilator certification with required renewal every three years
  • Successful completion of written and practial exam
  • Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate in a team
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute instructions in English
