Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in New York, NY is seeking a Technical Lead with extensive AEM experience to drive modernization and cloud migration efforts. You will design and implement backend services in Java/Spring Boot, create RESTful APIs, and craft rich frontend experiences with React and TypeScript.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure marketing technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 7-15 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service.
• AEM migration and cloud modernization experience preferred.
• Backend development in Java/Spring/Spring Boot.
• Designing and implementing REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Frontend proficiency with React and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and data modeling.
• Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions, including AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Lead AEM modernization and migration from AEM 6.5 to AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot services and REST APIs for marketing tech platforms.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Build modern frontend experiences using React and TypeScript.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and production readiness of applications.
• Work with databases, APIs, and integrations to support enterprise marketing workflows.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and engineering best practices.
• Support AI-enabled product initiatives, including LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and external AI services.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Experience with AEM migration and cloud modernization is strongly preferred.
• Strong backend development experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.

• Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready solutions.
