Job summary

Adobe’s Experience Manager (AEM) Customer Engineering Internship blends hands-on exposure to a leading enterprise CMS with opportunities to build internal tools that improve diagnostics and support workflows.

You will work hybrid from San Jose, collaborating with AEM experts to learn the full stack—from authoring to publishing and from backend Sling/OSGi to frontend HTL, React and GraphQL—while growing debugging and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field with an expected graduation date of December 2026–June 2027.
• 1-2 years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, REST APIs, JSON, XML.
• Languages such as Java or Python with an understanding of object-oriented principles.

Responsibilities

• Learn AEM’s technology stack—from authoring to publishing, from the backend (Sling, OSGi, Oak) to frontend frameworks (HTL, React).
• Design and develop internal tools and automations to help Customer Engineering streamline diagnostics and support workflows.
• Analyze and improve existing processes by identifying efficiency opportunities and building practical solutions.
• Solve and investigate AEM issues, learning debugging techniques used in enterprise environments.
• Contribute to internal documentation and wikis to support continuous information flow.
• Engage in team discussions and standups, learning agile workflows and customer support methodologies.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across Product Engineering and Customer Success teams to understand cross functional operations.
