Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to own the operation and governance of the AEM Cloud Service platform. You will build reusable components for sites on AEM Sites and integrate with Adobe and third-party products, delivering REST/GraphQL APIs.

The role requires collaboration with product managers, UX/UI designers, and DevOps to ensure a high-quality, scalable codebase. Onsite with 2 days WFH eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience using Java and AEM.
• Experience with AEM Cloud Service governance, operations, and DevOps.
• Experience collaborating with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, architecture, development, and governance of AEM Cloud Service.
• Build and iterate shared components and services for sites on AEM Sites.
• Evaluate integrations with Adobe or third-party products.
• Create and consume REST and GraphQL services and APIs.
• Implement features in collaboration with product managers, UI/UX and engineers.
• Work with DevOps and QA to optimize performance and user experience.
• Refine product requirements as user stories with the product team.
• Collaborate with agencies and colleagues on product experience design.
