Job summary

Vanguard in Malvern, PA, seeks a Senior AEM Cloud Architect to lead our migration from on‑prem AEM to AEM as a Cloud Service. You will design and implement templates, components, and OSGi services while guiding technical teams through a secure, scalable, cloud-native architecture.

The role focuses on headless delivery, GraphQL, and Content Fragments, with Cloud Manager pipelines and Git integrations. AEM DAM, multi-site, and Adobe Experience Cloud integrations are central.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of AEM experience, including 3+ years with AEM as a Cloud Service.
• At least one completed AEM Cloud migration from AEM 6.x to AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Expert knowledge of AEM Cloud architecture, Cloud Manager, and deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency with AEM Development building blocks: HTL/Sightly, clientlibs, HTML, CSS and modern front-end technologies based on JavaScript/TypeScript, Lit, ReactJS, NextJS etc.
• OSGi services, Sling Models, Servlets, Schedulers, Event Handlers
• Knowledge of API integrations(internal and external) with AEM.
• Experience with headless content design and omni-channel delivery using Content Fragments, Experience Fragments and GraphQL.
• Experience with enterprise DAM implementations and multi-site architectures.
• Strong understanding of AEM Dispatcher configurations, reverse proxy and load balancers.
• Experience with at least one Adobe Experience Cloud integration involving Adobe Data Collection (Tags, WebSDK, and MobileSDK), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and AEP.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools (Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for development acceleration.

We are seeking an experienced Senior AEM Cloud Architect / Technical Lead to lead an Adobe Experience Manager transformation from on-premises AEM environments to AEM as a Cloud Service. This role requires a hands‑on technical leader with proven AEM Cloud migration experience and deep expertise in enterprise‑scale AEM implementations.
