Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Applications Development Engineer to build Adobe AEM/AEP solutions and deliver high-quality software in an agile setting. You will design content models, workflows, and templates, and implement AEM components while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship features quickly.

A Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience are required to excel in this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
4+ years of professional experience building scalable and extensible production software systems with Java.
4+ years of enterprise level web content development & delivery with full SDLC.
4+ years of experience implementing Adobe AEM 6.5 and AEP.
Experience implementing web Content Management Systems (CMS) serving a very large user base.
Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Design and implement efficient content models, security models, workflows and templates.
Design and implement customized Adobe AEM solutions and components leveraging current Adobe AEM/AMS & Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) software releases
Deliver solutions by writing clean, efficient, and reusable code by following established coding standards.
Customize, integrate and deliver solutions by using multiple Adobe services such as AEM, AEP and Adobe Target
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
