Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring for Visual Flight Rules (VFR) pilot positions across multiple locations in the United States. The role involves operating rotorcraft in accordance with FAA regs and company procedures, with extensive flight time requirements and compelling sign-on/retention bonuses.

Housing and a flexible schedule are provided where applicable. Starting salaries range from $88,759 to $97,635, with geographic modifiers and substantial bonuses, including $15K sign-on and $40K retention

Qualifications

• 2000 hours total flight time
• 1500 hours helicopter time
• 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
• 500 hours turbine
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• Previous HAA experience or equivalent – preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensures all operations involving Company aircraft are in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and all state and municipal regulations.
• Operates the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, with emphasis on compliance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual.
• Monitors forecast changes and current weather situations.
• Conducts preflight of the aircraft prior to starting shift and/or accepting transports or flights, using rotorcraft flight manual; discrepancies documented and reported to maintenance with corrective actions.
• Reports to shift rested and prepared for duty and stays current of weather and forecast changes

JOB SUMMARY

Ensures all operations involving Company aircraft are in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and all state and municipal regulations.
