Job summary

Lincoln University seeks an AEL/ESL/IET Testing/Data Entry Coordinator to support curriculum updates, testing scheduling, and student transitions. The role involves data entry in LACES, coordinating assessments, and assisting diverse learners while upholding FERPA.

Flexible hours may include evenings and weekends, with travel to off-campus sites as needed. The position requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), Missouri teaching certification for Adult Education, and prior teaching

Qualifications

• Requires at a minimum of a bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred.
• Certification from the State of Missouri to teach Adult Education to prepare students to pass the HiSET.
• Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for AEL and ESL program/LACES/CASAS/DRC.
• Conduct orientation with new students in person and online.
• Create, catalog, and update lesson plans for AEL/ELA classrooms.
• Update curriculum in Moodle class sites.
• Support teachers and students on technical and scheduling issues.
• Assist students from diverse backgrounds with patience.
• Direct, guide, and evaluate student progress.
• Coordinate with local literacy councils to recruit volunteers.
• Responsible for day-to-day activities and case management of AEL volunteer program.
• Maintain records for student progress and volunteers.
• Manage assessment process including placement tests, scoring, data entry, and reports.
