Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Navy weapon systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Systems Engineering support for MDA Aegis-based DS Missile Program Office.
  • Develop program plans and POA&M recommendations; prepare executive briefings and documentation.
  • Produce, review and manage engineering documents; prepare technical papers, briefs, schedules, and risk documents.
  • Interface with MDA activities, Navy programs, JHU/APL, MIT Lincoln Laboratory and industry partners; coordinate program activities across OGAs.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, strong communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced program office.
  • Apply disciplined systems engineering practices, resolve complex technical problems and present solutions to senior leadership.
  • Lead Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups.
  • Assist in applying digital engineering and agile acquisition processes.

  • Apply disciplined systems engineering practices, identify and resolve complex problems associated with technical performance requirements, systems engineering, and performance trades and provide potential solutions to senior members of the Program Offices as well as the Missile Defense Agency
  • Lead Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups.

  • Ability to provide program oversight and recommendations for resolution of complex technical issues to Senior Leadership within the Program Office and MDA Leadership
  • Familiarity with Navy Weapon Systems
Desired Qualifications And Education Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems
  • Prior Program Office experience
  • Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, Systems Engineering, Weapon Systems development and operations, Aegis Qualifications, etc.

The pay range for this position in Virginia is $125,000/year to $155,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
