Job summary

DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school is required along with INBDE completion prior to matriculation and four letters of recommendation. Applicants must be U.S.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school.
• INBDE completed prior to matriculation.
• Dental school transcripts required.
• Four letters of recommendation: one Dean evaluation, three dental faculty.
• U.S. and/or Canadian citizens.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with patients, dentists, and healthcare staff.
• Commitment to patient-centered oral healthcare.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Interest in serving a diverse patient population in a community health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-focused dental care under supervision of attending dentists.
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for routine and complex cases.
• Collaborate with attending faculty to determine treatment options.
• Perform dental examinations and use X-rays and other diagnostic tools.
• Document patient histories and treatment plans in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families on oral health and preventive care.
• Participate in departmental meetings and required training.
• Complete all AEGD program competency and training requirements.
