Job summary

Navigate Search is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join its Architecture, Engineering & Construction practice. You will lead audit fieldwork, support client relationships, and supervise junior team members to deliver high-quality audits.

You will plan and execute financial statement audits for AEC clients, test statements and controls, address industry-specific issues such as revenue recognition and contract accounting, and clearly communicate findings to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• AEC or construction industry experience preferred.
• CPA or progress toward CPA licensure strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Strong communication, analytical, and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial statement audits for AEC clients.
• Test financial statements, internal controls, and transactional data.
• Address industry-specific areas such as revenue recognition, contract accounting, and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
• Supervise and review the work of junior staff.
• Manage engagement timelines and budgets.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit processes.
