As the full-time Store Team Leader, you are the CEO of your store! You are an entrepreneurial-minded business owner who takes pride in maximizing the daily operations of your store. You are passionate about developing a strong team through effective coaching and training, and you excel at making tough, strategic decisions to drive your business. You consistently deliver operational excellence, ensuring your store always meets AEO Brand Standards. Most importantly, you bring your authentic self to work every day!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Passion for driving results: You are an expert at increasing sales by maximizing store productivity and building guest loyalty through an exceptional guest experience. You create, manage, and own your store's business plan to meet KPI goals.
- Business innovation: Owning your store’s P&L, you analyze reports and sales trends to make real-time, innovative decisions to achieve financial goals.
- People leadership: You are passionate about recruiting, hiring, and retaining a high-performing team. You promote team development, encourage internal growth opportunities, and maintain a clear succession plan. You develop leadership through training, performance feedback, individual development plans, and annual reviews.
- Teamwork: You foster a culture of teamwork and recognition by setting clear goals, holding your team accountable to brand standards, and celebrating outstanding performance daily.
- Brand Standards: You ensure your store maintains AEO Brand Visual Standards by managing visual and merchandising processes, Floorsets, and merchandise adjustments. Your team understands their role in keeping the store guest-ready.
- Workforce Management: You optimize scheduling by evaluating traffic, calendars, and payroll reports, ensuring payroll efficiency and leveraging top talent to enhance the guest experience.
- Integrity: You demonstrate integrity in compensation decisions, asset protection, policy adherence, and doing the right thing always.
