Job description

YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by managing strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed, train and motivate associates, and drive sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Driving sales: As a key LOD, you excel at increasing sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through an exceptional in-store experience. You support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities to meet KPIs.
  2. People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values, serve as a role model, and hold associates accountable to uphold service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  3. Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent, and focus on training and developing associates to deliver outstanding service and uphold a Guest First culture.
  4. Teamwork and engagement: You set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates, provide ongoing performance feedback through coaching, and celebrate successes to motivate and engage your team.
  5. Visual & operational innovation: You execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards, ensuring the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
  6. Integrity and safety: You maintain store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection policies, follow company procedures, and consistently do the right thing.
