Overview

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading Leader on Duty shifts and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You manage daily store operations as needed, train and motivate associates, and drive strong sales results while embodying company values and bringing your REAL self to work.

Responsibilities

• You have a passion for driving sales: as a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you maximize fitting room and salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty through a best-in-class in-store guest experience. You support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities to drive KPI results.
• People leadership: motivate and inspire the team through AEO’s core values. Model leadership and hold associates accountable to AEO service standards on the salesfloor and in the fitting room.
• Talent and training: recruit and hire strong talent to ensure the store is staffed to meet business needs. Train and develop associates to deliver outstanding service and uphold a Guest First culture.
• Teamwork: challenge Sales and Stock Associates with clear, attainable goals and provide ongoing feedback through real-time coaching. Recognize and celebrate outstanding performance.
• Visual & operational innovation: execute and improve daily visual and operational procedures including shipment processing, merchandising moves and visual standards. Ensure fitting rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
• Integrity and safety: maintain store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow AEO policies and do the right thing at all times.
