YOUR ROLE

Job Description

YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into great merchants delivering AEO brand Visual standards every day. Through your leadership, your team always nails floorset execution, and rocks merchandising and marketing brand standards. You ensure the store is always "guest ready" through effective replenishment. Most importantly, you represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.

Your Responsibilities

  • Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty, and analyze reports to inform strategic decisions. You assist in developing business plans to meet KPIs.
  • Merchandising innovation: You coach your team to uphold AEO Brand Standards, manage merchandising, sell-through, and replenishment, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team, uphold customer service standards, and hold team members accountable.
  • Talent development: You recruit, hire, train, and develop team members to maintain high service levels.
  • Teamwork and engagement: You provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct touchbases, and celebrate successes to boost engagement.
  • Operational excellence: You execute daily operational procedures, maintain visual standards, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready.
  • Integrity: You uphold safety, Asset Protection, and company policies, doing the right thing always.
