YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into great merchants delivering AEO brand Visual standards every day. Through your leadership, your team always nails floorset execution, and rocks merchandising and marketing brand standards. You ensure the store is always "guest ready" through effective replenishment. Most importantly, you represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty, and analyze reporting and trends to inform business decisions. You assist in developing business plans to meet KPIs.
• Merchandising innovation: You coach your team to uphold AEO Brand Standards, manage day-to-day merchandising, and identify opportunities for improvement with actionable plans.
• People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team, serve as a role model, and ensure accountability to customer service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
• Talent development: You prioritize recruiting, training, and developing team members to maintain outstanding service and store performance.
• Teamwork and engagement: You provide ongoing feedback, conduct touchbases, and celebrate team successes to foster engagement and performance.
• Operational excellence: You support daily operational procedures, maintain visual standards, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready, aligning with AEO Brand Standards.
• Integrity: You uphold store safety, Asset Protection, and adhere to company policies, always doing the right thing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous retail management experience
• Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and time management skills
