As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into great merchants delivering AEO brand Visual standards every day. YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. Your Responsibilities
  • Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty, analyze reporting and trends to make strategic decisions, and develop business plans to meet KPIs.
  • Merchandising innovation: Coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience, ensure store visual standards are met, and take action on merchandising opportunities.
  • People leadership: Motivate and inspire your team, hold them accountable to customer service standards, and lead by example.
  • Talent development: Recruit, hire, train, and develop your team to provide outstanding service.
  • Teamwork and performance management: Provide ongoing feedback, conduct team meetings, and celebrate successes to foster engagement.
  • Operational excellence: Execute daily operations, maintain visual standards, and ensure the store is guest-ready.
  • Integrity and safety: Uphold safety standards, asset protection, and adhere to company policies.
Qualifications
  • Passion for AE and Aerie products.
  • Previous retail management experience leading teams.
  • Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Leadership and team development abilities, with knowledge of employment law.
  • Business acumen.
  • Flexible availability to work when guests shop.
