Qualifications

• Strong writing, storytelling, and news judgment.
• Ability to shoot and edit video.
• Comfortable reporting live and working under deadline pressure.

Responsibilities

• Covering daily news, breaking news, and enterprise stories across the Texas Panhandle and surrounding communities.
• Pitching and producing advocacy-focused stories that identify community concerns, expose problems, and seek meaningful responses.
• Shooting, writing, editing, and presenting stories for television, digital, and social platforms.
• Developing sources and building trust with viewers, community members, and local leaders.
• Following up on stories to make sure questions are answered and concerns are not forgotten.
• Using social media and digital tools to find stories and expand reach.
