Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Flexible schedule with possible overtime; reassignment to other locations as needed.
• Professional verbal and written communication; proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word; willingness to learn more software.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs independently and assist with greater weights.
• Valid Driver’s License; able to drive Springbrook vehicles.
• Ability to perform all required physical interventions.

• Be an advocate for the people you support in all situations and settings.
• Be punctual and dependable; regular staff attendance is vital for the people we support.
• Observe and help assess strengths and opportunities to develop personal goals and plans.
• Support and encourage people to pursue goals and activities and how they live their life.
• Specific tasks from intensive personal care to supervising activities per individual needs.
• Help people find meaningful activities, attend recreational events and family functions as appropriate.
• Follow all plans, learning materials, and goals; collect required data.
• Complete billing documentation for supports and services provided.
• Maintain training, certifications, and knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Ensure safe and clean environments, including grounds and vehicles.
• Attend team meetings and 1:1 meetings with supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned.
