Sedgwick is seeking a detail‑oriented Claims Specialist in Chicago to actively research, resolve, and administer escalated inquiries across lines of business, including FMLA, disability, and other leaves. You will review medical information, determine benefits, and communicate with claimants and clients to move claims toward resolution.

You will evaluate documentation, ensure proper coding, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering excellent service and one-call

Formación

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with disability claims and regulatory requirements is required.
• Knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, ADAAA and related procedures expected.

Responsabilidades

• Makes independent claim determinations to approve or recommend denial based on requirements.
• Analyzes and authorizes leave, accommodation, disability, and statutory claims.
• Enters and adjusts payments and supports payment research and resolution.
• Communicates clearly with claimants and clients by phone, email, or claims system.
• Manages claims to completion with timely documentation and resolution.
