Job summary

GHJ’s Los Angeles office is seeking an Advisory - Profit Participation Services (PPS) Intern for the Summer of 2027. You will be treated as a professional and dive deep into assignments and projects during the internship.

The full-time internship runs June 14, 2027 to August 13, 2027, with Wellness Week closure noted. Pay is $33/hour and benefits are not included. Internship offers exposure to advisory projects and client deliverables within a leading accounting firm.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Accounting or related field graduating between May 2028 - August 2028
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Excellent customer service skills (internal and external)
• Creative problem solving and research skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
• Highly motivated and interested in taking the initiative for personal growth and development
• Able to handle multiple priorities, tasks and simultaneous projects
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Openness to travel to client locations with colleagues, which may include occasional overnight stays

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in training exercises and discussions.
• Perform research and analysis for Advisory Projects.
• Assist with the creation of deliverables for Advisory Clients.
• Develop technical competency within the applicable Advisory Groups.
• Identify problems, gather insight, and offer potential solutions on engagements.
• Actively learn, ask questions, and grow your understanding of the Advisory Practice and the applicable Advisory Groups’ service offerings.
