Job summary

BPM in San Francisco seeks an Advisory Manager in its Forensics & Restructuring practice to lead client engagements in forensic accounting, investigations, disputes, and business transitions. You’ll analyze financial information, quantify impacts, and develop actionable recommendations with attorneys, executives, and stakeholders.

You will manage a team, mentor associates, build client relationships, and ensure high-quality reports and expert documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required; pursuit of CFE recommended.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in forensic accounting, restructuring, or advisory services.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading client engagements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic accounting investigations, fraud risk assessments, and litigation support engagements.
• Manage restructuring assignments including insolvency analysis, turnaround strategies, and creditor negotiations.
• Supervise and mentor a team of associates; provide performance feedback and career development guidance.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
• Prepare and review detailed reports, presentations, and expert witness documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies.

In this role, you will lead client engagements involving forensic accounting, financial investigations, litigation support, business disputes, restructuring initiatives, and other complex advisory matters. You'll work directly with attorneys, business owners, executives, and stakeholders to analyze financial information, uncover key facts, quantify economic impacts, and develop actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

$120,000 - $150,000 a year

The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position.
