Job summary

BDO USA in Madison, Wisconsin seeks a Visual Communications Intern in Management Consulting to support basic visual communications and design across client engagements. You will work with seasoned consultants to plan, execute, and close out project phases, while contributing to client deliverables and internal materials.

The role requires enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, strong graphic design skills, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (required); focus in Business Admin, Management, User Centered Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or IO Psychology preferred.
• Digital graphic design experience required.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design visually compelling client deliverables within client branding guidelines.
• Develop presentation materials, visual assets, and meeting-ready graphics for client and internal meetings.
• Document project requirements and business processes.
• Prepare drafts of reports, presentations and documentation using branded templates.
• Use research tools, databases, and trade publications to understand client industries.
• Research best-practice design approaches and user experience considerations.
• Other duties as required.

Job Duties

• Assists in designing visually compelling client deliverables that clearly communicate consulting recommendations within client branding guidelines
• Assists in developing presentation materials, visual assets, and meeting-ready graphics for client and internal meetings
• Assists in documentation of project requirements and business processes
• Leverages client branded templates to prepare drafts of various reports, presentations and documentation
• Utilizes research tools, databases and trade publications to develop an understanding of a client’s industry
• Assists with research of best practice design approach and user experience consideration
• Other duties, as required

Salary

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $37.00/hr - $41.00/hr

Colorado Range: $30.00/hr - $34.00/hr

Illinois Range: $34.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Maryland Range: $30.00/hr - $33.00/hr

Minnesota Range: $30.00/hr - $34.00/hr

NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $36.00/hr

Washington Range: $32.00/hr - $37.00/hr

Washington DC Range: $30.00/hr - $33.00/hr
