Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Visual Communications Intern in Management Consulting to support the design of client deliverables and presentations. You will work with experienced consultants to plan, execute, and close out engagements, contributing to research and branding across various client projects.

Requires enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus on business, design, communications, or related fields; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program; preferred focus areas in business or design.
• Digital graphic design experience is required.
• Leadership and project delivery experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing visually compelling client deliverables within client branding guidelines.
• Develop presentation materials, visual assets, and meeting-ready graphics for client and internal meetings.
• Document project requirements and business processes.
• Prepare drafts of reports, presentations and documentation using client templates.
• Research client industries using tools, databases and trade publications.
• Explore best practice design approaches and user experience considerations.

Job Duties

• Assists in designing visually compelling client deliverables that clearly communicate consulting recommendations within client branding guidelines
• Assists in developing presentation materials, visual assets, and meeting-ready graphics for client and internal meetings
• Assists in documentation of project requirements and business processes
• Leverages client branded templates to prepare drafts of various reports, presentations and documentation
• Utilizes research tools, databases and trade publications to develop an understanding of a client’s industry
• Assists with research of best practice design approach and user experience consideration
• Other duties, as required

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, required; with a focus in Business Administration, Management, User Centered Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or Industrial-Organizational Psychology, preferred

Salary

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $37.00/hr - $41.00/hr

Colorado Range: $30.00/hr - $34.00/hr

Illinois Range: $34.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Maryland Range: $30.00/hr - $33.00/hr

Minnesota Range: $30.00/hr - $34.00/hr

NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $36.00/hr

Washington Range: $32.00/hr - $37.00/hr

Washington DC Range: $30.00/hr - $33.00/hr
