Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Advisory Growth Specialist to own territory growth of investment advisory assets, partnering with Financial Advisors and Market Executives to identify opportunities and drive results.

You will coach advisors on advisory positioning, assist in portfolio construction strategies, and participate in client meetings to articulate the value of advisory relationships. This role offers visibility with market leadership and a fast-moving sales environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial services experience, including working with Financial Advisors or in investment management.
• Experience supporting or selling investment products or advisory solutions.
• Knowledge of professionally managed investment products or the investment advisory business.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to handle pushback.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools to manage activity and measure results.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
• Series 7 and 63/65 (or ability to obtain within 120 days).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Market Executives and Financial Advisors to drive advisory growth through conversions, new assets, referrals, retention, and wallet share expansion.
• Lead opportunity reviews and pipeline discussions; identify priorities and obstacles, create accountability, and help turn plans into results.
• Coach advisors on business development and advisory positioning with guidance on portfolio construction and asset allocation.
• Join client and prospect meetings to articulate the value of advisory relationships and help close deals.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, private briefings, and client events by showcasing Merrill’s capabilities with the right specialists.
• Track and communicate results using data to sharpen where time is spent.
