Job summary

Ascendo Resources is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to support strategic marketing initiatives, business development efforts, and advisor-focused marketing programs.

This is a hands-on role for a well-rounded marketing professional who can independently manage projects from planning through execution, work effectively with senior stakeholders, and coordinate across digital, communications, events, brand, and creative functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive marketing experience.
• Financial services marketing experience preferred.
• Experience managing marketing initiatives from planning through execution.
• Exposure to digital marketing, communications, events, campaigns, brand management, or client/advisor marketing.
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms; Salesforce or Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with experience creating executive-level presentations.
• Strong Excel skills for reporting, data organization, and dashboards.
• Familiarity with social media, email marketing, digital content, and web-based marketing.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar creative tools is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives and campaigns.
• Manage marketing projects from concept through completion, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Develop professional presentations, reports, dashboards, and marketing materials for senior leadership.
• Support local events, conferences, marketing activations, and other promotional initiatives.
• Partner with recruiting and business development teams on lead-generation and growth marketing campaigns.
• Develop marketing content across email, social media, digital, and other communication channels.
• Create and maintain marketing collateral, presentations, digital assets, and branded materials.
• Support marketing initiatives focused on recruiting and engaging financial advisors.
• Coordinate advisor events, communications, onboarding materials, and marketing resources.
• Serve as a marketing point of contact for internal stakeholders and financial advisors.
• Track campaign activity and marketing performance through CRM and reporting tools.
• Maintain consistency across marketing materials and ensure adherence to brand standards.
• Coordinate with digital, communications, design, web, and events teams on marketing initiatives.
• Support special projects and evolving marketing priorities as needed.
