Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Alternative Investment Technical Specialist to support Financial Advisors and clients with hedge fund products. You will cover advisors and asset managers, and help create, present, and execute customized hedge fund portfolios for UHNW and institutional clients.

This role requires 10–12+ years in financial services, knowledge of alternatives, and licenses (Series 7 and 66 within 120 days).

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years' experience in financial services or relevant experience.
• Knowledge/experience with alternative investments.
• Hold or attain Series 7 and 66 licenses within 120 days of hire
• CFA/CAIA not required but a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and originate new business from financial advisors and portfolio managers within BofA Merrill Wealth Management.
• Serve as subject matter expert on hedge fund products, platform, and industry to advisors, clients, and other specialists alike.
• Design, present, and execute custom portfolios of hedge funds for significant wealth clients of the firm.
• Deliver input on commerciality of prospective third-party hedge fund partners to internal stakeholders.
