Job summary

Stifel Financial Corp. seeks an Advisor Directed Programs Specialist II to support advisory programs across multiple teams. You’ll assist with applications, model support, and account setup while coordinating with Compliance, Operations, and Marketing to keep FAs informed.

This role emphasizes data-driven analysis of portfolios and ongoing program improvement. You will work closely with a Program Manager and contribute to maintaining rigorous documentation and files, ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the investment advisory industry.
  • Knowledge of investment securities, strategies, and asset allocation.
  • Ability to analyze data and explain portfolio statistics clearly.
  • Familiarity with regulatory considerations in advisory programs.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong Excel and portfolio analytics tool familiarity.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

The Advisor Directed Programs Specialist II works on all aspects of their respective advisory programs. The Specialist collaborates with the Program Manager, Financial Advisors (FAs), Compliance, Operations, and other groups both inside and outside of Stifel. The primary goal of the program management team is to provide highly competent support to Stifel Financial Advisors through the efficient and effective management of Advisor Directed programs.

What We're Looking For
  • Provide day-to-day support of Financial Advisors and their staff including; program applications, model/strategy support and account set-up and maintenance support
  • Collaborate with Program Manager on monitoring and analyzing Advisor Driven programs
  • Interface with Advisory Operations and Advisory Compliance to resolve items regarding accounts, fees, trading, and other issues
  • Coordinate with the Advisory Marketing team to ensure appropriate program information is shared with FAs and new recruits
  • Maintenance and periodic review of program procedures to ensure proper documentation and to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Responsible for the maintenance of documentation and programs files
What You'll Bring
  • Knowledge of investment securities, investment strategy and theory, asset allocation, investment statistics, and both brokerage and investment advisory industries
  • Ability to use logic reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Excellent customer services skills with a willingness to think critically and creatively in problem solving
  • Ability to synthesize and explain advanced statistical measurements related to investment portfolios
  • Understanding of operational and regulatory considerations in developing advisory program solutions
  • Ability to act independently in meeting team objectives
  • Commitment to collaborative work and building consensus across disparate groups of stakeholders
  • Ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
Education & Experience
  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's in business or related field
  • Minimum Required: 3 to 5 years' investment advisory industry experience
Licenses & Credentials
  • Minimum Required: Series 7, 63 and 65 (Series 66 in lieu of 63 and 65) within 6 months of hire
Systems & Technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Familiarity with portfolio analysis applications (e.g., Morningstar Direct, FactSet, Aladdin, etc) and/or portfolio management tools (e.g., Moxy, EIKON, Vestmark, Black Diamond
  • Experience with data analytics/presentation tools (e.g., Tableau)#LI-JK1
