Job description

Job Description:

As an Advisor Development Program Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (ADP FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, including dedicated study time for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will learn foundational skills to be an advisor—building and managing client relationships, analyzing complex financial situations, and providing advice and solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals, all while humanizing financial interactions.

After reaching key milestones, you will work in a financial center assisting with Bank of America’s banking, investment solutions, and client care. We will support your development throughout this process.

Upon success as a licensed ADP Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you will typically progress to the next stage as a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA). In this role, you will work in a Merrill Wealth Management office, building a portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth clients. Continued success may lead to further progression within ADP, with the ultimate goal of becoming a core Merrill Financial Advisor. The Academy provides dedicated programs, tools, and resources to support your career growth.

This position requires compliance with SAFE Act registration requirements. All employees involved in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and maintain good standing. Failure to do so may result in termination.

  • Clear and confident communication skills with diverse clients.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Capability to manage complexity, prioritize tasks, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn quickly, adapt to new information, and seek appropriate solutions.
  • Efficient time and capacity management.
  • Thoroughness in incorporating regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term strategies.
Desired Skills:
  • Strong computer skills with multitasking ability in demanding environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of experience in financial services or a sales environment with proven goal achievement.
  • Experience in assessing client needs, recommending solutions, and managing client relationships.
