Your role in our mission

1. Participate and represent in a client-facing Data Governance Committee, including making recommendations and guiding decisions within the scope of Client, State, and Federal data governance policies, practices, and standards relevant to data management.
2. Ensure and maintain the highest standards of data quality and security within program engagement through adherence to processes and procedures for access controls and monitoring of data activities to protect data integrity, including compliance for the preservation and protection of PHI and PII.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders in the design, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance and support activities of data services.
4. Assist the Client in solving data-related issues by managing data corruption or mapping data between program areas.
5. Maintain internally established data quality reporting metrics, evaluate, identify issues/corrections, and implement data management best practices.
6. Identify data assets, lineage, and business rules within data domains to ensure data element continuity and avoid data conflicts.
7. Manage data design, creation, and management of database architecture and repositories.
8. Maintain accurate and current content within the data management plan, including diagrams, workflows, and other related documentation.
9. Conduct and comply with data reviews and audits to ensure adherence to standards, policies, and database design.
10. Ensure documentation and processes are followed, including Architectural Board approvals for all data architecture changes.

What we're looking for

1. 8+ years of experience managing Medicaid or Major Health Care Payer data projects.
2. 5+ years of experience with visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, etc.
3. 6+ years of experience as a Data Manager (managing data center or infrastructure projects).
4. 6+ years of experience with technology deployments relevant to the solution.
5. Advanced understanding of SQL or MS Access, with knowledge of scripting/compiled languages like VBA, Python, R, SAS, .NET, C++, Java, etc.
6. Working knowledge of Medicaid Transformation Initiative, MITA 3.0, and CMS Conditions for Enhanced Funding.

The pay range is $95,100 - $135,800 annually, with variation based on location, experience, and other factors.
