Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Customer Service Advisor based in Decatur, Texas, operating in a hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). You will partner with the Supervisor of Customer Support to build and maintain strong relationships with external customers and act as the primary contact point.

The role involves handling inquiries, quotes, POs, contract reviews to AS9100, and inside sales activities for select accounts, including forecasting and pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field; or a comparable combination of education and/or work experience.
• Experience with MS Office; strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is a plus.
• Experience working in customer-facing organizations is required.
• Ability to self-direct tasks, plan and schedule; maintain composure under stress.
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment is preferred; machine drawing/blueprint reading is a plus.
• Must be able to comply with US export control laws.
• Experience in ISO 9000/14000 environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive inquiries from customers and work with other employees to develop and then provide a quote.
• Process purchase orders and complete contract review to AS9100; set up customer data, create part master data, create sales orders, and provide timely feedback to customers.
• Receive and process complaints, including returns to aid the customer quickly.
• Manage multiple accounts and perform Inside Sales duties for owned accounts, including forecasting, pricing, discounts, and pursuing new business.
• Interact with internal and external customers to improve customer service within the site.
• Participate in and lead lean initiatives to improve processes and reduce waste.

Job Description:

The Role: Entegris is seeking an enthusiastic individual to serve the role of Customer Service Specialist based in our Decatur, Texas location. Working with the Supervisor of Customer Support, this individual will develop, grow, and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers. This role acts as the primary contact point for external customers.

This role will be hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

What You’ll Do:

• Receive inquiries from customers and work with other employees to develop and then will provide a quote
• Receive Purchase Orders from customers and complete a contract review to the AS9100 Quality Standard, complete the necessary setup of customer information, create part master data if needed, create the sales order, and provide feedback to the customer in a timely manner
• Receive and process complaints to quickly aid the customer, including the customer product return process
• Manage and Own multiple accounts, interacting routinely with external customers. Perform the Inside Sales role for certain accounts they own including soliciting forecasts, develop pricing and discounts, and target new and existing customers for new growth.
• Effectively interact and develop relationships with internal as well as external customers as needed to improve the role of Customer Service within the site
• Participate in and submit creative efforts to improve our Customer Service business processes to eliminate waste and reduce transactions in alignment with lean business practices

What We Seek:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field; or a comparable combination of education and/or work experience
• Operating knowledge of MS Office software
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system a plus
• Experience working in customer-facing organizations
• Good written and verbal communication skills including participating, hosting, and leading online meetings
• Ability to self-direct oneself to assess scope of work, plan and schedule, and then compete daily tasks Ability to maintain self-control during stressful situations
• Some exposure to a manufacturing environment preferred; Machine Drawing and Blueprint Reading skills a plus
• Candidate must be able to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws
• Personal experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.
