Job description

To support our firm’s growth, we are seeking talented Spring 2027 graduates who want to be a part of revolutionizing the investment advisory ecosystem. Selected candidates will complete an intensive Advisor Analyst training program and obtain Series 7 & 63 securities licenses. Successful candidates will be self-starters, quick learners, and excellent communicators in a culture that recognizes and rewards success.

About Redwood:

Redwood Investment Management was founded in 2010 with a foundation in quantitative research and a mission to challenge common industry inertia. We help financial advisors think differently, driving better solutions for investment management through our RiskFirst process. Our firm’s assets under management have grown beyond $2 billion. Our 300+ partner advisors have achieved business growth – 28% average annual AUM growth for RiskFirst adopters – through clear, achievable investment expectations and higher client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Bring genuine curiosity and high energy into the discovery of financial advisors’ business needs – learning their process and building a helpful relationship around mutual understanding
  • Listen to and proactively address challenges facing advisors, leveraging insights and best practices from Redwood resources and thought leaders
  • Respond to inbound inquiries with a creative, problem-solving mentality, serving as subject matter expert on the RiskFirst process
  • Engage existing and lapsed clients – sharing updates, educating, and identifying opportunities – to better understand the full spectrum of advisory business needs and scenarios
  • Collaborate as a true partner across different departments – marketing, operations, portfolio managers, and analysts
  • Work with Head Advisor Analyst to master client relationship management skills, using data to strategically develop account intelligence, relationship-mapping, and case opportunities through technology-driven insights
  • Exceptional listening skills
  • Ability to grasp abstract concepts and articulate complex ideas with confidence and energy
  • Organization, attention to detail, and ability to follow process/order of operations
  • Awareness of deadlines and pride in successfully executing responsibilities
  • Collaborative attitude and team player instincts to treat others with dignity and consideration
  • Appreciation for constructive criticism and passion for ongoing learning and improvement
Education and Experience:
  • A financial degree is not necessary. Your major or area of concentration is less important to us than your internal drive, work ethic, and potential. We encourage you to apply, provided you share an interest in the capital markets and have demonstrated strong academic performance and professional drive
  • Provide professional references
Professional Outcomes:
  • Financial literacy through engagement with the investment advisory ecosystem and markets
  • Strategic planning, portfolio management, and securities
  • Client engagement, relationship-building, and interpersonal dynamics
