Job summary

University of La Verne is seeking an Advertising Assistant in Marketing and Communications to liaison with advertising vendors and the Operations and Integrated Marketing team. You will support regional and online campus expansion by evaluating opportunities and preparing pace reports to grow enrollment and brand awareness in Southern California.

Under guidance of the Senior Director, you will coordinate insertion orders, PO paperwork, check requests, and document activities in the project

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in communications/marketing; open to other fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a current University of La Verne student.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, Google Apps and cloud-based platforms.
• Ability to take initiative; work independently; team-oriented and professional.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between outside advertising vendors and the Operations and Integrated Marketing team.
• Evaluate advertisement opportunities with internal resources and pace reports for programs.
• Coordinate insertion orders and paperwork for purchase orders and check requests.
• Document activities in the project management system; hand off final deliverables to vendors.
