Job summary

SailPoint is seeking an Adversary Intelligence Manager to lead the newly formed Adversary Intelligence team, unifying threat intel and red/blue capabilities. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Cyber Defense Operations and can be remote or based in Austin, TX.

You will drive AI-enabled adversary emulation, threat hunting, and intelligence analysis, partnering with SOC and other security teams to improve detection and response posture across enterprise systems and applications.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in cybersecurity with at least 4 years leading blended threat intel and offensive security (Red Team / Purple Team).
• Experience incorporating Generative AI, LLMs, or agentic frameworks into cybersecurity workflows.
• Proven track record partnering with SOC, incident response, or detection engineering teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and program management across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct unified intelligence collection, analysis, and adversary emulation programs with CTI informing red team campaigns.
• Architect AI-driven automation to scale threat intelligence collection and emulate playbooks.
• Co-design purple-team exercises and feedback loops with SOC and ASM to translate findings into detection enhancements.
• Translate offensive results and threat intel into strategic risk profiles for executive leaders.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of senior offensive security engineers and threat analysts.
• Oversee development of custom tools, techniques, and APIs for automation and ingestion.
• Present high-impact threat briefings and risk assessments to cybersecurity leadership.
