Job summary

Adobe is seeking an experienced adversarial testing expert to join our security team. You will design, implement, and run automated tests against Adobe’s external products, APIs, and fraud controls, reproducing real-world abuse scenarios to uncover gaps.

You will collaborate across Fraud Prevention, Product, Engineering, Security, and other teams to strengthen detection and prevention measures. The role requires 8+ years of hands-on experience, strong Python scripting, and deep knowledge of

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 8+ years of hands-on industry experience
  • Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting/programming language
  • Experience with REST APIs, HTTP, authentication, web applications, automation frameworks, and modern cloud-based systems
  • Experience building scripts, tools, or automated workflows to test complex systems and behaviors
  • Strong understanding of fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, adversarial testing, or digital risk
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using SQL, logs, telemetry, or other data sources
  • Ability to understand complex product architectures and work effectively with Product, Engineering, Fraud, and Security teams
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Strong judgment and commitment to safe, responsible testing within established authorization and testing boundaries
  • Useful experience with JavaScript, cloud services, browser automation, authentication/identity systems, CI/CD, and security testing tools

Responsibilities

  • Conduct adversarial testing of Adobe’s externally facing products, services, APIs, and fraud controls
  • Recreate real-world fraud and abuse attacks to identify attack paths and control gaps
  • Design and build automated testing tools and scripts using APIs, Python, or similar languages
  • Develop creative test scenarios across account creation, identity, payments, entitlements, APIs, and customer experiences
  • Partner with Fraud Prevention, Product, Engineering, Security, and other teams
  • Test new and existing fraud controls and recommend opportunities to strengthen detection and prevention
  • Retest mitigations and identify alternative circumvention methods
  • Document attack methodologies, findings, and recommendations
  • Build repeatable adversarial testing capabilities
  • Monitor emerging fraud, abuse, automation, and AI-enabled attack techniques and apply learnings to Adobe products and defenses

Job description
