Job summary

Storyteller Overland in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Assembly Technician to build adventure vehicles on our MODE or HILT production lines. You will own quality, assembling cabinets, walls, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems using hand and power tools, while representing the brand to our community.

You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and collaborating with a team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical skills and ability to use various tools and equipment.
Keen eye for detail to ensure each vehicle is assembled accurately and meets quality standards.
Effective communication to collaborate with team members and report assembly issues.

Responsibilities

Perform precise assembly and production of RVs and adventure vehicles, including cabinets, walls, plumbing fixtures, roof racks, wheels, appliances, and electrical systems.
Inspect components and assemblies to maintain high quality, reporting issues promptly.
Maintain stock levels at your station and request supplies to avoid production delays.
Adhere to safety standards and company procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Collaborate with teammates and participate in ongoing training and process improvements.
Keep work area clean and organized, and contribute to product quality and innovation.
