Job summary

Storyteller Overland, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Cabinet & Final Trim Technician to join our Springfield, MO production team. You will oversee cabinet and final trim installation, coordinating workflow, maintaining schedules, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship for living quarters cabs.

The role requires automotive experience, ability to read drawings and specs, and a proactive, team-focused mindset in a fast-paced factory setting.

Qualifications

• AAS Technical/Trade degree preferred or relevant experience.
• Automotive experience is a must.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
• Willingness to learn additional technical skills within automotive/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Install cabinets and final trim per design plans and quality standards.
• Measure, cut, and modify materials for proper fit and seamless integration.
• Ensure installations are level, aligned, and securely fastened.
• Identify and resolve fitment discrepancies with minimal workflow disruption.
• Maintain a safe, organized shop environment following 5S principles.
• Support fabrication and assembly of components as needed.
• Review production schedules and adjust workflow to meet deadlines.
• Perform quality checks and final inspections to meet company standards.
• Communicate production progress and potential delays clearly.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.
