Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in multimedia journalism or related role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop original story ideas based on news leads.
• Research, gather, and verify information through field reporting.
• Write compelling stories aligned with broadcast standards.
• Shoot high-quality video and photography for storytelling.
• Edit video content for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Deliver live reports in the field.
• Collaborate with photographers, producers, and digital teams.

Skills

Strong broadcast and AP style writing skills

Experience with videography and operation of broadcast-quality cameras

Proficiency editing with Final Cut Pro or similar non-linear editing tools

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Strong news judgment, curiosity, and storytelling instincts
