California State University, San Bernardino is seeking an Advancement Services Student Assistant to provide basic administrative support in the Advancement Services Department. You will edit thank-you letters, enter donor data, assist with gift processing, and handle routine office tasks with discretion on a campus-based schedule.
Responsibilities include filing, organizing documents, maintaining check logs, creating marketing content with Canva, and supporting events.
Under direct supervision, the Advancement Services Student Assistant will provide basic administrative assistance to the Advancement Services Department. Students will edit incoming student thank-you letters, aid with data entry in donor/alumni database, assist with supporting gift processing, and provide other administrative duties as assigned.
Under direct supervision, duties include but not limited to:
Student Employment Anticipated Hiring Range: $16.90 per hour.
The compensation offered will consider internal equity and experience among other factors.
Work status: Part-Time, Temporary, Seasonal
Monday through Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm).
Monday through Thursday (7:00 am - 5:30 pm).

Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check when required may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
Driver’s License Check
Possession of a valid Driver's License may be required. Employees in this position will be enrolled in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Government Employer Pull Notice Program which confirms possession of a valid driver's license and reflects driving record.
