Job summary

CASA Kane County seeks an Advancement Operations Coordinator to manage donor data in DonorPerfect, process gifts, and produce reports to guide fundraising decisions.

This role blends analytics with relationship-building, requires attention to detail, and supports annual giving, events, and donor communications within a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in fundraising operations, donor relations, nonprofit administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, information systems, fundraising, or related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.
  • DonorPerfect experience preferred.
  • Adobe Acrobat experience preferred.
  • Nonprofit fundraising experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain CASA’s DonorPerfect CRM, ensuring donor and gift information is accurate, organized, and up to date.
  • Process gifts, acknowledgments, tax receipts, pledge reminders, and stewardship communications.
  • Generate donor lists, reports, exports, segmentation, dashboards, and analytics to support fundraising and decision-making.
  • Conduct donor and prospect research, including wealth screening and identifying potential fundraising opportunities.
  • Prepare donor profiles, research summaries, briefings, and reports for leadership, board members, and campaign volunteers.
  • Monitor donor retention, acquisition, engagement, lapsed donors, event participation, and other fundraising trends.
  • Help turn data into usable information that helps CASA build stronger donor relationships and raise more support for children.
  • Support annual giving, Giving Tuesday, monthly giving, matching gifts, peer-to-peer fundraising, grants, major gifts, and campaign initiatives.
  • Assist with donor communications, appeals, meeting preparation, minutes, and other advancement administration.
  • Support CASA fundraising and community events before, during, and after events.
  • Help coordinate donated and event-related materials and interact with donors and supporters as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, efficiency, and overall advancement operations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Development Team to support CASA’s fundraising goals and mission.

CASA Kane County is a Guardian ad Litem nonprofit volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of children involved in abuse and neglect cases within the Juvenile Court system.We believeevery child deserves a safe and permanent home.

Accurate donor information, thoughtful research, strong reporting, and effective fundraising operations help CASA build the resources and relationships needed topositively impact the lives of children and strengthen our community.

What You’ll Do

Events & Schedule

Although this is an operations and reporting-focused position,you will be part of the CASA team and will be supporting our fundraising events. There will be occasional weekend and evening work required.
